Disney!!! Last Day!!!

The last day of Disney. You know how you're usually ready to go home & get life back to normal? No, not me. I was loving this vacation & did not want it to end. But I am thankful. Now, Nick on the other hand, well, you judge for yourself. Doesn't he have the 'I'm ready to end this' look? I think he was ready for a different breakfast. While the boys & I loved the free breakfast at the hotel (scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, grits, cereal, danish, fruit, yogurt..I could keep going but I won't), he isn't fond of 'mass produced' food. He'd also rather have a big fat greasy burger for breakfast, or pasta. One more day Nicky.. We are going back to Magic Kingdom today then spending one more night and driving home tomorrow.
We opted for the ferry this go round'. It's like a ride in itself for us!
Rocco & Roman
Here we are!I love it! If we lived in Orlando I would insist on season passes! Tomorrowland
Stitch ride! It was actually kind of lame but we had been hopping on & off coasters so maybe that's why. Any coaster that Rocco was tall enough for, he rode! And LOVED them!!
Here he's telling us all about it!
Two riders so Roman had to ride by himself. He did great!
Dallon & I rode together.
Daddy & Rocco
Dal & I were in the middle, Roman in front of us & Daddy/Rocco behind us.
There's Roman!
Hey Roman!
That was SO fun!!!
Space Mountain malfunctioned while we were heading in with our Fast Passes, so we took this time to cool off! We'll go back later!

Cooling off in Toontown too! My boys have always loved this spot!
Yes, my kids were the only ones stripping.
On our last day we finally saw our favorites!!! I cropped me right out of this picture though. It was much cuter with just the boys.
Train ride!
While visiting Mickey's house Rocco was very confused why Mickey wasn't there.
Oh Yeah! SPACE MOUNTAIN!! We love it.
Rocco caught up on some much needed rest while we rode Space Mountain. He wasn't quite tall enough. Next time!

This was such a great trip! Rocco did so good walking as much as he did. Daddy did good too, carrying him on his shoulders when Rocco's little legs needed a break. We discovered that Rocco is a roller coaster machine! He absolutely loved them!! On Thunder Mountain we had to MAKE him hold on. He saw Daddy putting his hands up & wanted to do the same but it just made us a little too nervous. We look forward to riding many more coaster with our boys.

We headed out to find a restaurant and settled on Dallon's favorite, Longhorn. It was a great meal! Then we went to our hotel for some swimming & rest. The next morning we packed up, ate our free breakfast & headed home to find our new granite counter tops waiting for us. They were installed while we were gone. We stopped to buy a new faucet on the way.

See you in about five years Disney! Sooner if we can get another deal like this!

Disney!!! Day 3, Magic Kingdom

Friday we decided to spend the day at Magic Kingdom. After today we would check with the boys on which park they wanted to go back to. We decided to save Epcot for when they are a little bit older.

Boy this place brings back so many special memories for me!! My grandparents lived in Orlando when I was growing up. My brother & I would spend two weeks with them during the summer, sometimes more! They would always take us somewhere special, Disney, Sea World, Circus World or Weeki Wachee Springs! It also brings back sweet memories of s a few visits we have made with Roman & Dallon. Dallon was TWO the last time we were here!! Wow. Now, our family is complete. We don't have to find the breastfeeding stations, rent a stroller, carry a giant bag of food, clothes, etc. etc. etc. It was nice! We all walked, well, sometimes Rocco rode Daddy's shoulders. But it was wonderful to be 'lighter'. Nick did wind up buying a backpack last night so we could carry some waters & Cokes. Nick loves his Cokes!!

Dallon had been asking to see Pluto since we got here. (I know, he's not usually the first character the kids think of when they think Disney, but Dallon's not your average kid either!) So guess who we spotted first thing when we walked in?!

And Pinocchio!

He really loved Roman! It's kinda crooked but I took it while walking. This place is busier than the other parks! But thank goodness it wasn't as hot as it could have been. Like it would be about now, late June.
Waiting for the Jungle Cruise.
All smiles
So fascinated!

We all know this guy. Tom Sawyer's Island. The boys enjoyed running all.over.this.island, while I relaxed in a porch rocker.
Enjoying the ferry to & from the island.
It's a Small World THIS is the trip that the boys discovered their love for roller coasters! We enjoyed Thunder Mountain (Rocco's FAVE) & Splash Mountain (Roman & Dallon's FAVE)! Tomorrow we'll enjoy Space Mountain!!

And did I tell you the boys love frozen lemonade just like their momma? YUM

Now, back to the hotel for swimming. I think next year we'll just go to a hotel with a pool for a weekend & let the boys swim swim SWIM. They love staying in hotels (or cabins, especially cabins) & swimming!

Disney!!! Day 2, Animal Kingdom

Thursday morning we decided that after breakfast we would spend some time at the pool before heading over to Animal Kingdom.
Rocco's shooting someone here.
Thank God for the beautiful weather we had while we were in Orlando!
Wouldn't you just love to have that little island of palm trees hanging over your very own in ground pool? I would!!

Rocco
Roman & Dallon
Roman
Rocco, thumbs up!
Hakuna Matata!!!
One of the first characters we saw was Meeko from Pocahontas!
Then Rafiki!
While Daddy was pretty excited, this is what Rocco thought about posing with these characters.
Timon!
The Lion King show is my favorite of all the Disney shows! It is a must see!! I get goosebumps every time! (ok, i've only seen it twice, but i did get goosebumps both times)
Look who got to participate in the closing act!!! See him??
There he is again!
Go Roman!!!
Rocco liked the show but he was not crazy about all the characters I kept asking him to pose with.
Safari Minney!!
Guitar Dan sang the boys a song all about them!
Mostly about this cute little guy.
Safari Goofy!!
Notice who showed up for this picture with Safari Mickey!!
And this picture with Chip & Dale!
OH YEAH! Now we're talking Rocco!! We're on a roll!
Safari Donald!!
Inside the Tree of Life, going to see 'It's Tough to be a Bug' in 3D!
Picking boogers & ear wax on the way!
We enjoyed Kilimangaro Safari & Kali River Rapids!
And I just happened to get a picture of my favorite animal!
The boys LOVE Animal Kingdom!!
While Magic Kingdom is special, Animal Kingdom is my personal favorite!!
Outside the Tree of Life
Flick!!
The boys got to hold all different kinds of........what is that?
Smell it!
dung

Rocco drew the line at Pocahontas.
The petting zoo is one of my boys favorite areas.
Animal Kingdom closes at 5pm because it takes them 3 hours to put all the animals away! At about 4:45 very heavy black clouds rolled in & we headed towards the front! We wanted to get to the car & head to The Rainforest Cafe' at Downtown Disney! Just as BIG HUGE drops started coming down we looked to our right & saw a sign that pointed to The Rainforest Cafe'! We had no idea they had one AT Animal Kingdom!! Perfect timing! The food was wonderful, as well as the experience (this was our second time eating at The Rainforest Cafe') and the weather was clear when we left.
The boys picked up a few souvenirs. Roman bought a pair of stretchy lizards, Dallon bought a new lunchbox thermos combo, Rocco bought a cup to use everyday!
Time to head back to our hotel for some more swimming!
I couldn't get the boys to ride Expedition Everest with me. I was getting nervous about them not wanting to ride Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain & Splash Mountain tomorrow at Magic Kingdom.
