The remodeling has begun!

I know it will be well worth it in the end.. But I really wish I could leave for a week and come home to it all being done.. Here's our list:

1. Remove wall between kitchen & living room (Started but have a few problems to solve before completion. Anyone have a plumber friend?)
2. Pick out an oven/range OR do we want a wall oven & smooth top separate range? Hmmm... Will probably go with a better version of what we already had, a good gas oven/range.
3. Remove walls/pocket doors in between kitchen & dining room.
4. Lots of painting (which also involves removing the ever-dreaded wall paper)
5. Install granite counter tops
6. Install dark wood laminate flooring
7. Replace fascia board on exterior of house
8. Complete master bath remodel (already stripped down)
9. Privacy fence around the yard

Next, sheet rock.. Let's see what's in there?

This is the living room side. (+ Rocco)

See the two plumbing pipes? We'd like to ask a plumber if we can reroute the one on the left to the one on the right. If so we can open it up more. If not, the wall will come out atleast to that pipe on the left. Better, but not what we wanted..
